We are a family with a member who has special needs, and we therefore know the challenges, joys, and struggles that come with it. This has given us a deep understanding and empathy for other families who face similar situations. We know how overwhelming daily life can be, but also how much hope, pride, and joy can be found in both small and big achievements.
Our values are built on patience, respect, and the belief that all children and young people have potential β and the right to be seen and heard. We have advocated for the inclusion of people with special needs, and our experience has shown us how important it is to meet both children and families with understanding and support.
Through 15 years of working with children, young people, and adults with special needs β primarily within the autism spectrum β we have gained extensive experience and knowledge. We have seen how targeted and persistent efforts can create great results. Our own family member has had fantastic experiences, such as dancing at the Royal Danish Theatre, which has been proof that with the right support and skill development, people with special needs can unfold in extraordinary ways.
Our experience as both a family and professionals has given us insight into the practical and emotional aspects of life with special needs. We wish to share this knowledge and experience with other families, so they can find courage, inspiration, and concrete tools to create positive changes in their own daily lives.
